We are looking for highly qualified artists with the skills to create hard surface assets for AAA games.
The ideal candidate is able to complete all stages of model creation - from blockout to implementation in the engine, is familiar with various pipelines and has a deep understanding of form, construction and materials.

Superpowers
you have are
- Proficiency in Maya (or Blender, 3Ds Max).
- Knowledge of CAD modeling (Plasticity / Fusion);
- Sculpt of the hard surface assets in Zbrush;
- Confident level of skill in creating low-poly models and retopology, understanding the principles of modular systems, the ability to optimally distribute polygons on the asset;
- Ability to create optimal UV mapping for various types of textures (tiles, rectangular, UDIM);
- Ability to bake in several programs to solve problems encountered during baking;
- Strong knowledge of Substance Painter for creating realistic textures;
- Basic knowledge of Substance Designer;
- Understanding of the import and materials setting in the engines (UnrealEngine 4, Unity, Lumberyard etc);
- Understanding of modern pipelines and requirements for creating realistic weapons and equipment;
- Ability to follow and correctly interpret / improve the concept idea;
- Intermediate+ English level (written and spoken) for seamless collaboration and documentation;
- Familiarity with Marmoset Toolbag for rendering and baking maps;
- Ability to use PureRef for organizing references and visual materials;
- Teamwork skills.

- Understanding of the game asset creation pipeline and optimization for engines;
- Knowledge of Marvelous Designer;
- Materials creation in Substance Designer.
As a part of Room 8
studio, you will
- Create high-poly and low-poly models of the vehicles and hard surface objects for games on given concepts/references according to guidelines;
- Create optimal UV mapping and texture baking (normal, AO, etc.);
- Make photorealistic texturing;
- Work with game engines.
