Get to Know What Unites Room 8 Studio with Best of E3 2018 Awards by IGN

After worldwide week buzz, E3 2018 is coming to a close, and Room 8 Studio as everyone here has gathered together after sitting down with dozens upon dozens of upcoming video games ranging from press conference pools to genre-bending indies. Near the end of the show, we place our votes with other gamers and collectively decide on the very best game that E3 has to offer.

We are happy to announce that IGN nominated Afterparty, a Night School Studio project, as Best Game of E3 2018 in the following categories: Best PlayStation 4 Game, Best Xbox One Game, Best PC Game, Best Nintendo Switch Game, and Best Adventure Game of E3 2018. The competition was fierce this year, but once the dust settled, we keep our fingers crossed and hope that Afterparty – the game we contributed our passion, time, and devotion to – will receive the award in one of the categories mentioned above. Even though Afterparty is the winner for us already, you are warmly welcome to vote here. The game is a point-and-click adventure with a tone of freaks and geeks and an environment full of fun, but with an incorporated idea of Aaron Sorkin’s “walk-and-talk” as a mechanic. Like many of you, we were remarkably impressed by the Afterparty trailer and spread it among our community! But there’s nothing to compare to when we had an opportunity to partner with fellows at Night School Studio and test the gameplay demo going to hell with some friends and getting drunk with the Dark Lord himself.

“We couldn’t be more excited for the Night School team and the success of “Afterparty”!  When we began collaborating on this project, we knew the vision we shared would be special.  Being nominated at the E3 awards validates that our fans and peers feel the same way.” – commented Chase Payne, Business Development Director at Room 8 Studio.

After other impressive releases at E3 2018, we are united with all gamers in anticipation of the Walking Dead, Marvel’s  Spider-Man, Fallout 76, Cyberpunk 2077, and other fantastic news! Stay tuned!
