Each week the admins of the creative platform Artstation select top users’ portfolios, so named Featured Pro Portfolios. This once, Olivier Couston, a Belgium 3D artist, appears among the lucky men.

Room 8 Studio would like to distinguish one of his recent works Radio Girl. The 3D model of this remarkable girl is based on the concept of our talented 2D artist.

Olivier explains his choice: “I knew someone was going to make a 3D version of it sooner or later, so I jumped on it! Mostly a lighting exercise. Everything is rendered in one take. No, render layer; what you see if what you get, including DOF, is not done in post. Only slight color/contrast adjustment in photoshop”.
