Create game-ready asset of the Weapon (Sight – ELCAN Specter DR 1-4x) from the Reference slide and replicate the concept as accurately as possible from the design point of view within the framework of technical specifications.
Technical requirements:
- Polycount: 10k triangles
- Texture size: 2k x 2k + 1k x 1k for lens
Please follow these steps during the process:
- Blockout of main forms and proportions
- Highpoly detailed mesh
- Lowpoly (Maya)
- UVs (any software) and bakes (Marmoset Toolbag)
- Texturing (Substance Painter)
Note: Photo/concept projection on the texture is not allowed. All layers should be done inside Substance Painter.
The file format of the final delivery / presentation:
- Highpoly – Maya .ma scene or Zbrush .ztl
- Lowpoly – Maya (.ma) with proper soft/hard edges and pivots.
- Bakes – Marmoset Toolbag scene, PNG 16 bit (Normal, AO, ID).
- Textures – Substance Painter (Specular Pipeline, Diffuse, Normal, Gloss, Specular, Ambient Occlusion)
Final Marmoset scene with model and textures applied.
